The Toll House, Holme Pierrepont

The name is misleading as this was a straightforward entrance lodge to Holme Pierrepont Hall, built in the late 19th century. The 1884 OS 25 inch map shows a toll point on Holme Lane, but to the east of the lane which runs behind the cottage http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/7060986 .
