This bus garage in Rookwood Road, has had a chequered history in recent years operating motorbuses having closed in 1995, reopened in 1996, closed again in 2000 then finally reopened in July 2002. It then closed on Friday 6th November 2020 having operated over 90 buses on routes 67, 73, 253, N73 and N253. The routes and buses were then transferred to Clapton Garage Image the routes being 73, 253, N73 and N253 and Northumberland Park Garage Image for route 67. In front of the garage is the bus stop for route 318 which starts from that stop then goes to North Middlesex Hospital via Seven Sisters and Tottenham. Also, London plane trees can be seen in this photo, they being a common sight on London's streets as they can cope with air pollution.
