The DMS on the left (DMS 485) was by this time London Transport's standard double-deck bus, equipped for one-person operation, whilst on the right the iconic RT type (RT3410), introduced in 1939, was in its final months of service. Small suburban bus stations in modern housing developments were not uncommon in the London network, but this one was finally disbanded in 2018 to be replaced by modern apartments. This is one of a series of views featuring buses in the 60s, 70s, and 80s. http://www.geograph.org.uk/search.php?i=137652761
