This barber's shop on the corner of Magdalen Road and Shipstone Road offers a haircut for £10 which seems reasonable value for money. The services listed above the window are 'wet shave, waxing, beard trim, threading and hot towel' (threading is a method of hair removal used on the eyebrows and a hot towel can be used to open the pores on the face allowing for a closer shave). Outside the shop, the Nationwide Building Society is advertising its monthly prize draw for members.
