No.13 George Street, a mid-18th century house, latterly a disused shop, now converted into apartments. Three-storey building with dormers, two bays. Grade II Listed Building https://www.historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1197610 After having been covered by scaffolding for several years, the façade of Nos.15 to 21 George Street, a large 1880s stuccoed, five-bay building in an Italianate style, is now open to view again. Latterly The Goose & Granite public house, a Planning Application was approved September 2012, inter alia, to change the use of the building to training facility including bistro and patisserie, shop and 13 apartments.
