The earliest parts of St Peter’s Church date from around the 12th century; however, the tower is from the early 14th century. It is a Grade II* listed building (List Entry Number: 1040722 https://historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1040722 Historic England). It was restored from 1833-43.
