Photo taken in 1999 from the rear coach of a train looking towards the West. The Platform at this station is bi-directional as there is only a single line through the station, due to encroachment of industrial land on the South side. The remaining gap being too narrow to accommodate two tracks. Passing trains have to use a loop line to the East of the station. Note the severe curve of the platform, which makes for a large gap between the train and platform edge.
