Regency Cheltenham's greatest monument, a terrace "the equal of any in Europe". It is sixty-three bays long, the centre emphasised by an Ionic portico (Image]). Begun by G.A. Underwood in 1822-23, but probably not completed until around 1835. Grade II* listed.
