Clearly converted now to residential use, but the circular structure seen here has the appearance of a horse engine house, in which a horse or donkey, tethered to a central post, would be required to walk in circles to drive the machinery of a flour mill or similar. Many of the former barns here, including this one, are available as holiday lets.
