A Victorian era letterbox stands at the junction of Raleigh Road and Upton Road. As this area was developed in the latter nineteenth century and the many industrial buildings related to the tobacco trade with it, this fellow seems to be an original of that time. Maps show it here by the turn of the century at least. As with most things in the locale that stay stationary for too long, it has attracted a sticker - see Image
