One of forty rocket sculptures that form an art trail across Leicester city's streets and open spaces. They each stand at almost 8ft in height and are sponsored by a local business. This sculpture is called Scorpius and is located in Orton Square, in the Cultural Quarter of Leicester. On the left is the Athena building, it was originally an Odeon cinema which opened in the 1930s, with one screen and 3,000 seats. By the 1990s is had fallen into disuse, but has now reopened as a conference centre.
