The mail order company Kays originated in Worcester and had links with the city into the 21st century but sadly no more. The office block with the centre pitched gable was built in 1906-07 and was to be the company's home for the next 94 years. The company also had various other premises in Worcester but the last, the large warehouse on Bromyard Road, closed in 2007.
