Leybourne Castle

Viewed from the churchyard of Leybourne church, Leybourne Castle is an impressive sight. The castle dates from the early 14th century and was remodelled in a Cotswold vernacular style by Walter Godfrey in the 1920s. The building is Grade II* listed, see: https://historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1363097 The property is private and not open to the public.
