Killick's Mill, Meopham Green

The windmill, a Grade II listed building was built by James Killick, a millwright from Strood, in 1801 and is still in working order. Unusually, the mill is hexagonal in plan. Most smock mills are octagonal in plan. I recall paying my allotment tithe in the late 1970's in the office below.
