Looking east-south-east towards Hardings Wood Junction, this is the Trent and Mersey Canal (Hall Green Branch). It is often now considered to be part of the Macclesfield Canal. Ahead is Kidsgrove Bridge, No 97 (Macclesfield Canal numbering), carrying Hardingswood Road.
