A United Reformed Church, which, according to the Victoria County History is 'the only nonconformist place of worship within the boundaries of the modern city which has a continuous record of use since the 18th century'. A Congregational chapel was built here in 1795. The first minister was Jonathan Evans, who was said to have French revolutionary sympathies. The present building looks more modern.
