This is part of the large and still-expanding estate on the south side of Trumpington, once a village and now a sprawling suburb of Cambridge. Britannia Walk is on the left and Mardler Close on the right. The line of trees just about marks the alignment of the Cambridge to Bedford railway (dead straight from here to Comberton Road), the eastern part of the Oxford-Cambridge Varsity line (1862-1968).
