Taken from Tesco’s car park, Cardiff Road, Newport. This is an isolated thunderstorm over Usk, about 12 miles away. It is a Cumulonimbus Incus cloud with the fibrous anvil-shaped icy top reaching to the troposphere at around 40,000 feet.
