The front of The Albion faces east, and is on the western side of the road. In 1966, it was verified that a gatepost alongside the pub had a benchmark. Today, the only gatepost close to the pub is the one attached to the front right of the building. The post has been heavily painted and rendered and there is no sign of a benchmark.
