A male azure damselfly, Coenagrion puella resting on a leaf at the water's edge at Doune Ponds. There were several individuals flying around, including mating pairs, together with a few large red damselflies, Pyrrhosoma nymphula. Doune Ponds is a local nature reserve located in an old sand and gravel quarry.
