Classic early 20th century bank building in Edwardian Baroque style. Built 1907 for the Manchester and Salford Bank http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/6888570 , later Williams and Glyn's; architect W Cecil Jackson. The uncolonnaded section contained separate commercial office accommodation. Listed Grade II.
