The Boating Lake, Ramsgate

A pool with two curved pavilions on the east and west, the site opened in August 1929 but was originally built as a bandstand with tea rooms. The tea rooms are still in the catering trade, but a quick search doesn't say when the bandstand to boating lake conversion was done. This picture was taken during the covid restrictions in 2021 with the boating closed and the pool water partly lowered. An old picture featuring the bandstand is on https://oldramsgate.blogspot.com/2006/05/west-cliff.html
