Class 37 diesel locomotive No. 37608 'Andromeda' passes Bow Brickhill Station light engine on its way to Bletchley. This locomotive is owned by Europhoenix and is sporting the interesting and very clean livery of this company. The loco is leased to Rail Operations Group (ROG) and was being used to ferry new electric trains from the Network Rail Test Track at Old Dalby in Derbyshire to the Crossrail depot at Old Oak Common, London. Today there were no trains to move, so the loco is moving light back to its depot in London. ROG are responsible for moving all types of rolling stock around the system for Network Rail. As of now (June 2021) the new Crossrail line (to be known as 'The Elizabeth Line') is still awaiting opening after some years delay. It is intended to improve travel between west and east via new underground stations in central London.
