The 2021 Manchester Flower Show took place between 29 May and 6 June. It was the city’s first major event after re-opening in mid-May following the national Coronavirus lockdown. The show featured a city-wide trail of floral displays and green installations. Bread Flower is a local company that delivers freshly-made bread and flower bundles across Manchester. For the Manchester Flower Show, they turned their delivery bike into a mini cottage garden filled with herbs, seasonal plants and edibles, the bike’s front basket bursting with baguettes and bagels. It was located just off the seouthwest corner of St Ann’s Square, at the corner of St Ann’s Street and St Ann’s Place.
