The bridge over the River Sowe at Stoneleigh is of medieval origin although it may have been rebuilt in the 17th century and was widened in 1824 by John Rennie (this view shows the 19th century work on the downstream side of the structure). There are eight arches, although only two of them actually cross water, and the bridge is 59.5 metres (195 feet) in length. A footpath was added on the upstream side in 2017. The bridge carries the B4113.
