Line of Sycamores

This line of Sycamores marks one edge of what the map shows as a fenced track, but which is, in reality, quite abandoned. The view is taken from the field to the south looking over a fence which effectively blocks access between the properties, so the track has nowhere to go at this end. The sycamores are all in full leaf already, whilst nearby oaks are just starting to leaf out and ash trees have not started. Both sides of the boundary have gorse, which is in full bloom and (at least on the Fron-Gôch side of the boundary) full of nesting birds. The Ty-mawr side seen here is currently being grazed by sheep so, apart from the gorse, wildflowers are less in evidence.
