On the left, the Moseley School of Art, built in 1898 to the designs of Birmingham architect W H Bidlake. The School of Art closed in 1975 and since the 1980s the building has belonged to the British Association of Muslims. The Victorian Society describe it as in the 'Wrenaissance' style (i.e. a blend of Renaissance architecture and the somewhat later classical style of Sir Christopher Wren) and said in 2017 that "its condition is steadily deteriorating and is a cause of great concern for local heritage campaigners." To its right, Butcher's Print Works (Transfer Works) of 1909.
