Old railway bridge on the Monkey Road, Larkhall

The bridge is near the site of Millburn Colliery, known as the Monkey Pit, and Millburn Chemical Works. The railway closed in 1964 and there was opencast mining in the vicinity in the 1990s. The railway track under the bridge is now filled in.
