Erected in 1907 by the Warrenpoint Urban District Council. This Edwardian bandstand was manufactured by Walter Macfarland & Co. Saracan Foundry Glasgow. There are at least eighty bandstands made by this company in towns, cities and seaside resorts in the British Isles and foreign countries including Australia, South Africa, Barbados, and Argentina.
