Extensive work is being undertaken to this historic building and planning permission has been granted for listed building consent by Dover District Council under application numbers DOV/20/00536 and DOV/20/00537. Here, scaffolding had been erected over one of the windows on its eastern side, although it is rather obscured by the tree.
