Redevelopment work, Tyne and Wear Metro Depot

Looking towards the main rolling stock depot of the Tyne and Wear Metro from a footbridge crossing the tracks. As part of the project to replace the ageing fleet of trains the depot is also being redeveloped. A section of the depot building, its extents identified by the white walls, has been demolished in recent weeks.
