Here at the north-west end of Edwards Road in Erdington, at its junction with the High Street, are signs from three eras. The topmost, a ghost sign, reads 'J DICKS Tobacconist Confectionery WILLS THREE CASTLES CIGARETTES'. Below are two street nameplates of different design and a mural for the shop on the corner.
