This is the BCN Old Main Line (Wolverhampton Level), looking north-west towards the junction with the Dudley Canal, which leads off to the left by the chemical works. I wonder why so very many substantial mooring rings have been installed here. There is a towpath on both sides of this canal. Housing is in Vernon Avenue. There is almost no boat movement so the water is clear and the canal bed is visible.
