Whitfield Mill is the name used for this residential conversion, though it would appear the original building of that name has been demolished; this one was originally called Dyehouse Mill and later Apperdale Mill. See also Image This photo shows its location adjacent to the canal that would almost certainly have supplied its raw materials and taken away at least some of the finished product.
