A stone bench with a stone takeaway. A work by Tom Waugh, 'Big Takeaway' (2018) is carved from Doulting stone, a Jurassic era stone originating from the Mendip Hills and long used as a building material. One of several sculptures from the university's art collection dotted around the campus. The vegetation behind the bench follows the line of an old field boundary.
