Here the path passes between Butcher's Broom and holly, and a kind person has trimmed both plants to save us being scratched. The Butcher's Broom is taller than it should be, and is spreading by underground rhizomes, producing the mass of shoots in the foreground. No berries, so a male plant - there is a female plant with berries not far away - Image
