The plaque on the plinth reads: "Hunton Horse Plough" "Made in the village at Hunton's Foundry in the early 1900s. Purchased and donated back to the village by a local resident in 2005. Renovated by prisoners at HMP Wayland and Carbrooke Estates. A time capsule was placed in the plinth by pupils from the village school in June 2012. This plaque and the plough were unveiled on the 30th September 2012."
