Dirleton Kirk, a pretty sandstone church, was built about 1612 to replace the 12th century kirk nearby in Gullane. It is situated in the heart of the village, just off the village green. It has a tower crowned with Gothic pinnacles added in 1836. Inside is some interesting stained glass, one window by artist Margaret Chilton 1936, depicting St Francis and the animals.
