The fallstreaks of the ice crystals indicate that the airmass is moving towards the upper right of the photograph. The trees on the right are on the Emscote Lawn estate, former home of the Nelson family who owned the gelatine works on Emscote Wharf. The white two-storey building housed the offices, recently converted to flats.
