Chellaston Road at the junction of Cheshire Street. The turning loop for trolleybuses was the original terminus of the Osmaston Road service 60 before it was extended to Shelton lock. The wiring was retained but was only latterly used by occasional peak-hour extra journeys. This view was taken on the occasion of an enthusiast tour. Trolleybus 224 was one of 20 Sunbeam F4 vehicles with Willowbrook bodywork delivered in 1952-53. This is one of a series of views featuring buses in the 60s, 70s, and 80s. http://www.geograph.org.uk/search.php?i=2114547&displayclass=slide
