Following amendments to the road layout in central Leeds in 2021/21, the section of York Street east of St Peter's Street has one lane outbound and two inbound, plus a cycle lane on the far side. For bus enthusiasts, the vehicle in the photo is First West Yorkshire fleet no. 1812, registration YJ58RTX, painted in the colours of the former West Yorkshire Road Car Company.
