A high efficiency compound overtype with superheating and condensing. Built by Richard Garrett & Sons in 1912 and installed at the sawmill of J Brace & Sons in High Ongar in 1936. It ran until 1975. It was returned to the place of its birth in 1983 and is a fine example of the breed.
