The houses on the left are on walks at right angles, running to the next parallel walk to the left, Breydon Walk. On the right is a terrace of rather extraordinary single storey houses, L-shaped, semi-back-to-back with similar houses on the next parallel walk to the right, Oulton Walk. The small back yards are totally surrounded, apparently requiring sheds outside the front doors. It does not seem a wonderful town planning solution, but better, apart from the view, than being stacked on top of each other in tower blocks.
