In the grounds of the church is this shrine. The plaque (right) reads "This grotto to the honour of Mary the Mother of God was [lovingly?] constructed by the parishioners of St Peter's Bradford in thanksgiving for the work of the Sisters of the Cross and Passion, Leeds Road 1895 to 1986".
