Taken on the last day of trolleybus operation in Maidstone, with trolleybus 72 decked out for the occasion with flags, and operating a special service. Although this part of Park Wood had only recently been developed in 1967, the housing blocks have been completely rebuilt, and the open space on the right, including the car park serving Park Wood Parade, also redeveloped with a mix of housing and retail units. This is one of a series of views featuring buses in the 60s, 70s, and 80s. http://www.geograph.org.uk/search.php?i=2114547&displayclass=slide
