East Kent route 69 was a classic open-top bus service, running along the Thanet coast between Ramsgate (Pegwell Bay) and Minnis Bay (Birchington), seen here passing Pierremont Park on High Street, Broadstairs. As was so often the case for these seasonal services, older buses which had reached the end of their normal life had their roof removed and soldiered on for a number more years. No.375 is a Guy Arab III with Park Royal bodywork, built in 1951 and converted around 1966. This is one of a series of views featuring buses in the 60s, 70s, and 80s. http://www.geograph.org.uk/search.php?i=2114547&displayclass=slide
