Looking north-west on a very dull drizzly morning towards Sandwell and Wolverhampton, this is the Birmingham Canal Navigations New Main Line, engineered by Thomas Telford and mostly completed 1824-1827. Ahead is Rabone Lane Bridge and the Darcast Crankshafts factory.
