Looking north-east from near Rotton Park Junction. Many factories off to the left have now (by 2021) been demolished, and very extensive city regeneration including housing is under way. The Soho Loop is a remnant of the original meandering Birmingham Canal Navigations Main Line to Wolverhampton, engineered by Brindley, 1768-1772. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Soho_Loop
