A small furry tabby cat called Matilda lived around the North Quay car park and shops. She used to be looked after by local traders and car park attendants and we always used to seek her out when we visited the village. She was a friendly soul. The building in the photograph is a gallery and I think Matilda may have had a meal or two there in her time.
