The red brick block dates from a rebuilding in the early 1900s. A new engine house was added on the other side in 1921. In the foreground is a space where weaving sheds once stood. Security in the white shirt was a little vexed by my activities but backed off when he realised I was only taking photographs. The mill was closed at this time and awaiting redevelopment. Preston's millscape has been absolutely decimated in recent decades and this mill and the one immediately behind are now replaced by houses. One of the two chimneys on the left has also gone.
